Praying God’s Promises, which is finding scriptures relative to the solution to your problem, is the key to answered prayer. God is already aware of your problems and promises that His Word does not return to Him inactive but does exactly what God pleases and purposed it to do.

So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 Amplified Bible (AMP)

My favorite set of God’s Promises are in Deuteronomy 28. This entire chapter covers the blessings of obedience and the curse of disobedience covering every area of life on earth. Although set in the old testament, these promises are relevant today. For example: we don’t have oxen, but we do have cars. We don’t have store houses, but we do have pantries. The fruit of our produce can easily be promised protection over our paychecks, books we write, music we produce and ministries we’ve started.

No matter what the problem is, there is a solution in God’s Word. Seek for it and you will find it. Stand firmly in faith on that found Word and apply it’s truth to your problem during your prayers and watch God work it out for your good!
